Robert “Bob” Green McNeely, 82, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 23, 2011 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Ron Page officiating. Burial will follow in Teays Valley Memorial Gardens, Winfield. He was born December 24, 1928 in Logan Co., WV a son of the late Robert G. and Elizabeth Murphy McNeely. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise McNeely; and all his brothers and sisters. He was a retired crane operator for the former Huntington Alloys. He is a member of Church in the Valley and the Covered Bridge Antique Car Club, Milton. He is survived by two sons, Danny (Marilyn) McNeely of Milton and Jeff (Pat) McNeely of Ashton; three grandchildren, Maia (Todd) Endicott, Mary (Rusty) Gleason, Kelly (Chrissi) McNeely; eight great grandchildren; his beloved dog and companion, Missy; host of friends and church family. The family requests donations may be made in Bob’s name to Church in the Valley. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
