Obituary
Karen Francis Alford Cremeans Holley, 63, of Ona, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. David Viars officiating. Burial will follow in Lunsford Cemetery, Milton. She was born December 5, 1947 in Mason County, a daughter of the late Earl W. and Macil Francis Hinkle Alford. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Steve Alford and one sister, Earlena McDonald. Karen was a graduate of Hannan High School and a retired manager of Shop-Rite in Milton. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charles Edward Holley; one son, Gary Brian (Kathy) Cremeans of Milton; stepchildren, Brian E. (Kathy) Holley of Barboursville and Kathy Carrico of Barboursville; three brothers, Roger Alford of Milton, Wayne Neal of Wheelersburg, OH and James Neal of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Anna Mae Doneff of Milton and Beverly McBrayer of Alabama; and five grandchildren, Michael Cremeans and Breanna Cremeans, both of Milton, Jared Holley and Brian (Amanda) Holley, and Katelyn Carrico, all of Barboursville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 17 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
