Dora Ann Diamond Cyrus, 72, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2012. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 at Forest Memorial Park, Milton, with her brother-in-law, the Rev. A. Curtis Cupp officiating. She was born August 2, 1940, in Milton, a daughter of the late Edgar and Lillie Boggs Diamond. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Cyrus, as well as her brother Tilman Diamond, and her sisters Gracie Lewis, Kathleen McCoy, Mary Pancake, and Roberta Sullivan. She is survived by her two daughters and their families, Sandra A. Cyrus and James C. Herwig and her grandson James Thomas Herwig of Harvest, Alabama, and her daughter Dr. Pamela A. Cyrus and Elizabeth Loud and her grandson John-Stephen Loud of Clinton, Connecticut. She is also survived by her sister Caroline Cupp of Eden, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are made through Heck Funeral Home.
