Nora Mae Henry, 90, of Lesage, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2012 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Harvey Langdon officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery, Glenwood, WV. She was born September 21, 1921 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Willie and Florence Tincher Halley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester “Chess” Henry; four sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Henry attended Spurlock Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Lee (Kim) Henry of Lesage; four daughters, Georgia (Ron) Gebhardt of Glenwood, Phyllis Clagg (Joe Moore) of Lesage, Linda (Carl) Shepherd of Lesage and Carolyn (Walter) Meadows of Ona; two brothers, Chester Holley of Lesage and Paul Holley of Ona; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and special friend, Stollie Williams of Lesage.
