Alice “Kathryn” Porter Holley, 79, of West Hamlin, WV, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at home. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Roger Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Balls Gap Cemetery, Milton. She was born March 11, 1933 in Milton, a daughter of the late Juble and Nannie Burns Porter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Holley; daughter, Melissa Holley; son, Mark Allen Holley, brother, Robert “Bobby” Porter; and two sisters, Nancy Kenney and Louise Fetty. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Lawson of West Hamlin, Patricia Ann Keen of Coeburn, VA and Alice Holley of VA; four sons, James Holley of West Hamlin, WV, Harry Joe Holley of Panama City, FL, Johnny Holley of Lebanon, VA and Paul Holley of West Hamlin, WV; 32 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
