Lynville E. "Chappy" Chapman

Lynville E. “Chappy” Chapman, 94, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in Genesis Putnam Center, Hurricane. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 in Chapman Cemetery, Milton, WV. He was born September 6, 1920 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late John William and Nora Dovie Chapman. Chappy was also preceded in death by four brothers, Oscar, Lester, Elmer and Oliver; and two sisters, Ruby Oliver and Edna Smith. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 16 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Little Victories Animal Shelter, Ona, WV.
