Obituary
Matthew Clinton “Matt” Edwards,
58, of Culloden passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at his home. A celebration
of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Heck Funeral
Home, Milton with the Rev. C. Douglas Peters officiating. Burial will follow
in Culloden Community Cemetery. He was born May 27, 1957 in Milton, WV, a
son of Becky Sowards Edwards and the late Clinton Edwards. In addition to
his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Matthew Edwards and
one sister, Jackie Gibson. Matt was a loving, caring husband and father who
worked hard and never complained - he was a true friend to everyone he met.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Edwards; one
son, Billy Edwards of Milton; one sister, Elizabeth Edwards of Hurricane;
two brothers, Mike Edwards of Culloden and Earl Edwards and his wife, Tammy
of TN. Matt will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Visitation will
be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the funeral service at Heck
Funeral Home.
