Obituary
Mildred Louise Jenkins, 94,
of Milton passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Genesis Putnam Healthcare,
Hurricane, WV. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 17,
2015 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Chelcie Gibson officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. She was born January 10,
1921 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Grover and Ethel Scarberry
Norris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Jenkins. Mrs.
Jenkins was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Milton. She is
survived by three sons, Eddie Jenkins, Jimmy Jenkins and his wife, Linda and
Woody Jenkins and his wife, Barbara, all of Milton; one daughter, Sandra
Hatfield and her husband, Harry of Milton; five grandchildren, Phil Jenkins,
Nicole Scarbro, Jillian Watkins, Steven Hatfield and Aimee Lunsford; and
seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service
Wednesday at Heck Funeral Home.
