Lonnie Clinton Black, Jr., 64 of Milton passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born May 19, 1951, a son of the late Lonnie C. and Hazel M. Black. He is also preceded in death by his son, Joseph Black; one sister, Betty Bryan; one brother, J.R. Black and a nephew, Leonard Bryan. Lonnie is survived by his lifelong companion, Janet Newsome; son, Jimmy Black; four sisters, Polly Fisher, Virginia Rife, Rebecca Clagg and Shelia Campbell; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Kevin Shull officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Milton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
