FRANKLIN D. EDMONDS
(November 9, 1936 - November 10, 2015)

FRANKLIN D. EDMONDS, 79, of Ashton, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Lakin Hospital, West Columbia, W.Va. He was born November 9, 1936, a son of the late Sanford and Kathleen Meadows Edmonds. He was also preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Cobb Edmonds and one brother, James Edmonds. He is survived by two sons, Clifford Edmonds of Kaufman, Texas and Wesley Edmonds of Ashton; six sisters, Phyllis Parsons of Ashton, Jean Bowen of Ashton, Lucille Barker of Ashton, Bonnie Winter of Glenwood, W.Va., Mabel Gorrell of Ravenswood, W.Va., and Margaret Pender of Ravenswood; three brothers, Charles Edmonds of Milton, W.Va., Woodrow Edmonds of Barboursville, W.Va., and Paul Edmonds of Ashton; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Pete Meadows Cemetery, Glenwood. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the funeral home.
