Rodney Clay Cain

Rodney C. Cain, 39, of Huntington, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington.  He was born April 7, 1978 in Huntington, a son of Ronald Cain of Ona and Brenda McClellan of Huntington.  He is also survived by his son, Kaden Cain of South Point, OH; brother, Randy Cain of Ona; paternal grandmother, Gail Cain of Milton; four uncles, Joe Adkins and Jerry Adkins, both of Chicago, IL, Phillip Adkins of Sumter, SC and Danny Cain of South Point; three aunts, Anita Vasquez of Milton, Janice Simpson of FL and Nancy Short of Barboursville and several cousins.  Rodney was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Huston and Sue Hager Adkins and paternal grandfather, Homer Cain.  Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Doug Spurlock officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
