Ronnie Dale Smith

Ronnie Dale Smith, 55, of Milton passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. He was born August 22, 1962 in Milton, WV, a son of Charlotte Shaffer Bledsoe and the late Ellis J. Smith. Ronnie was a 1980 graduate of Milton High School and loved guns, hunting, fishing and a sharp knife. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife and best friend, Mary M. Smith; two daughters, Whitney Smith (Raine Rogers) and Mariah Smith (Jeremy Hatfield); two grandsons, Ellis and Wayden; sister and brother-in-law, Ronda and Don Lemley; stepfather, Ronald Bledsoe; “the son he never had and never wanted”, Cody Coleman; and a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Mark Hesson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service beginning at noon. Burial will follow in Templeton Cemetery, Milton.
