JANE DESAIX
(December 7, 1921 - August 18, 2009)

Jane P. Desaix, 87, of Huntington, WV, passed away, Monday, August 18, 2009 at the Woodlands Retirement Community.  Funeral services will be conducted on at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the Henson Mortuary with Rev. Arvie Maynard officiating.  Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born December 7, 1921 in Poca, WV the daughter of the late Russell P. and Ruth E. Campbell Profitt. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bates Memorial Presbyterian Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert A. Desaix in 1958.  She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Frank Chandler of Milton, WV and Barbara and Randy Scott of Palmyra, VA; three grandchildren, Sean Chandler, David Chandler and Bruce Langdon, and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the Henson Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be directed to Hospice of Huntington.
