Herbert Richard Chaney
(December 19, 1958 - July 14, 2009)

HERBERT RICHARD CHANEY, 50, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at St. Marys Medical Center. He was born December 19, 1958, Ashland, Ky, a son of the late Orville and Jane Anne Williams Chaney.Services will be held Thursday, July 16, 2009, at 2:00P.M. at HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE, with Chaplain Tim Stewart. of Big Sandy Fire Dept. officiating. Friends may call from 12:00P.M. till services time at Henson Mortuary. Mr. Chaney was the former Fire Chief of England Hill Fire Dept, Catlettsburg, Ky, and was training officer of Big Sandy Fire Dept, Burnaugh, Ky.He is survived by his wife Terri Simpson Chaney, (2) Sisters Pat Rudowski- Summersville, S.C., Viola Anne Vanover- Ashland, Ky, (2) Brothers John Chaney, Catlettsburg, Ky, James Chaney- Ashland. He was a man who brought life to all those around him. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to family for medical expenses.
