BARBARA JUNE COLLINS
(March 29, 1936 - July 31, 2009)

BARBARA JUNE COLLINS, 73, of Huntington, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 at her residence. She was born March 29, 1936, in Buffalo Valley, Wayne County, WV the daughter of the late Jennings and Thelma Purdue Haynie. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wilson L. Collins; One son and daughter-in-law, Wilson and Roberta Collins of Huntington, one daughter and son-in-law Margie and Danny Campbell of Richmond, KY, five sisters, Millie Keeney of Huntington, Grace and Clyde Ferguson of Gallipolis, Ohio, Diana Hensley of Wayne County, Karen Sizemore of Oak Hill, W.Va., Charlene Haynie of Huntington, five Grandchildren, four Great-Grandchildren, Mother-In-law, Martha Collins of West Hamlin, She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and David Haynie, and one sister- Geraldine Meadows, brothers-in-laws Edward Meadows, David Hensley, Johnny Keeney. She was a founding member of Altizer Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday August 3, 2009, 11:00 AM at the Henson Mortuary with Rev. Cledith Campbell Jr, officiating. Burial will follow in Newman Cemetery, Wayne County, WV. Family will receive friends from 3-5 P.M. Sunday August 2, 2009 at the funeral home. HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE, is handling arrangements for the family.
