JACKIE JUNIOR PRINCE
Jackie Junior Prince, 63, of South point, OH passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Henson Mortuary with Rev. Bob Young officiating. Burial will follow in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock, W,Va. He was born July 21, 1946 in Cabell County, W,Va the son of the late Ellis Harrison Prince (Junior) and Hilda Faye (Adkins) Ellis. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Jeannie Smith and one brother, Robert Prince. He was retired from the transportation and logistics division of The American Red Cross. He is survived by five children and sons and daughters-in-law, Angela (Gilmer) Gue of South Point, OH, Chris (Alicia) Prince of Proctorville, OH, Mark and (Michelle) Prince of South Point, OH, Toni and (Steve) Walters of South Point, OH, and Jed and (Jessica) Lavinder of Maysville, KY; one brother, Charles (Christine) Ellis of Birmingham, AL; 10 grandchildren, Cody and Makayla Gue of South Point, OH, Allyson Prince, Nathanial Nickels and Brennan Wagner of Proctorville, OH, Aylaraha Prince of South Point, OH, Mikey and Matt Walters of South Point, OH, and Elizabeth and Victoria Lavinder of Maysville, KY; two special friends, Don Millhouse and Chuck Whisman and a special caregiver, Teresa Thacker. Friends may call from 6-9 pm at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville on Thursday, July 8, 2010.
