GERALDINE G. ZANDO
Geraldine G. (Lockwood) Zando, 82 of Huntington, WV formerly of Charleston, WV and Rockhill, SC. Passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 5, 1928 in Vasser, Michigan, the daughter of the late Stephen P. and Eva E. (Lockwood) Schuler and her step-father, Oliver Schuler. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond J. Zando, Sr. of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by four children, David Michael Zando, of Burke, VA, Julia Ann McCune, of Alliance, OH, Raymond J. Zando, Jr. of Charleston, WV, and Eva Maria Hanna of Huntington, WV; one sister, Betty Lockwood; one brother, Stephen Lockwood; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Geraldine was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Rockhill, SC and enjoyed gardening, quilting, cross-stitch, and playing the piano. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Grandview Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Bluefield, VA with Thomas McCune officiating. Friends may call from 10:30 am until service time at the cemetery. Burial will follow the service. Henson Mortuary, Huntington is caring for the family.
