HAZEL A BUNN
(April 15, 1916 - June 6, 2010)



Hazel Annice Bunn, 94 of Barboursville, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Cross Roads United Methodist Church with Rev. David Cartwright and Rev. Bill DeMoss officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington.  She was born April,15, 1916 in Cabell County, WV, the daughter of the late Carl S. and Lula (Crook) Blankenship. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin W. Bunn in 1981. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Singer and Mary Virginia Blankenship; two brothers, Mitch and Bill Blankenship. She is survived by three daughters, Donna Bunn (Don) DeBord of Huntington, Karen Bunn (Robert) Williams of Cincinnati, OH, and Carla Bunn of Huntington; one son, Gregory K. (Brenda) Bunn of Huntington; two sisters, Mildred Asbury of Barboursville and JoAnn Booth of South Point, OH; ten grandchildren, Elizabeth Carter of Lawrenceville, Ga, Theresa Hickman of Spencer, WV, Dr. Joseph DeBord of Davidson, NC, David DeBord of Aurora, OH, Scott Williams of Westchester, OH, Col. Mark Williams of Springboro, OH, Todd Williams of Louisville, KY, Brandon Bunn of Huntington, WV, Whitney Stead of Barboursville, WV, Michael Bunn of Huntington, WV; 20 great-grandchildren and was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Michael DeBord; and four, great-great-grandchildren.    She was a homemaker and a member Crossroads United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010  at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers donations to Cross Roads United Methodist Church or Hospice of Huntington.
