JACK W. LIPSCOMB
(February 17, 1928 - August 28, 2011)

Jack W. Lipscomb, 83 of Louisa, KY, formerly of Barboursville, W.Va. passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011 in Three Rivers Medical Center, Louisa, KY.  Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va. with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating and under the care of Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. Burial will follow.  He was born February 17, 1928 in Barboursville, W.Va. the son of the late Claude F. and Dorothy Steele Lipscomb. He is survived by one brother, Bob Lipscomb of Proctorville, OH; special nieces and nephews, Karen Harvey, Beverly Triplett and Jeff Black and several additional nieces and nephews.   In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Hobbs, Mary Alice Fizer and Jean Black; four brothers, Glen, Claude Jr. Everett and Rufus Lipscomb and one nephew, Rocky Lipscomb. Special thanks to the J.J. Jordan Nursing Home and Three Rivers Medical Center for their care. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va.
