THOMAS ANDREW FOOTO
Thomas Andrew Footo, 90 of Midland Meadows Senior Living, Ona, W.Va. passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va. He was born March 6, 1921 in McDowell County, W.Va. the son of the late Andrew Thomas and Anna Palco Footo. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Angelene Elizabeth Footo in 2001. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Ona, W.Va. with Rev. Father, James Sobus officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluefield, W.Va. He was a retired Mining Engineer and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church, Ona, W.Va and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Andrew (Angela) Footo of Barboursville, W.Va.; one daughter, Marianna (Tom) Linz of Milton, W.Va.; two sisters, Martha Shrader of Lebanon, Va. and Ethel Cox of Princeton, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Kristen Footo, Scheilli, Grace and Alex Linz. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Midland Meadows Senior Living.
