FRANCES ELAINE SIMPSON
(November 12, 1914 - October 8, 2012)

Frances Elaine Simpson 97, of Lesage, WV, went home to join her family on Monday October 8, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Frances was born November 12, 1914 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Ira and Lottie Jefferson Blanchard. She was longtime member of Z. Warner United Methodist Church Lesage, WV. She was employed many years as an optician for Polan Industries. In  addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Simpson, brothers Clyde and Ira Blanchard Jr., sisters, Gladys Harbour, Kathleen Langdon Harless, Mary Gebhardt, and Virginia Arlene Benedict. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and a special caregiver Lois Gebhardt Berry.  A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 12, 2012, at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV with the Rev. Jerry Ryder officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until service time on Friday at Henson Mortuary.
