Troy Jennings Reed, 87 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Monday, August 20, 2018 in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 21, 1931 in Huntington, WV the son of the late, Abel and Norma Harris Reed. He was a retired Salesman in the Automotive Parts Business and was an avid golfer. He was Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Delores G. Reed; sisters, Emma Crum, Maye Collins and Jean Blevins; brothers, Bill, Wayne, Cecil, Bud, John and Perry Reed. He is survived by one son, Michael Jennings Reed and wife Leslie of Huntington, WV. four sisters, Joan (Richard) McCoy of Fl, Esta Reed of Huntington, WV, Eloise Perry of Fl. Marcella Mays of Canton, OH; Grandchildren, John (Nancy) Booth and Tyler Arbogast; great-grandchildren, Logan, Grace and Alexander Booth and Owen Arbogast. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Road, Huntington with Pastor Chuck Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until services time on Friday at the mortuary.
