Rachel Irene Chapman Knapp Tomblin, 87 of Lesage, WV, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her home. She was born May 23, 1931 in Cabell County, WV, the daughter of the late, Grover and Ola Garnett Brewer Chapman. She was a homemaker and member of Lesage Apostolic Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Knapp in 1987 and her second husband, Ephraim M. Tomblin in 2016 and one brother, William Woodrow Chapman. She is survived by her three children, Delores (Jerry) Stickler of Lesage, WV, Donald H. (Janet) Knapp of Lesage, WV and Ray (Brenda) Knapp of Barboursville, WV; one sister, Lorena Hill of Henderson, WV. One aunt, Dorothy Blake of Lesage, WV; four grandchildren, Matt Stickler, Amy (Ronnie) Hay, Deanna (Joe) Chapman and Kristy (George) Russell; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Lesage Apostolic Church, located at the intersection of Rt 2 and Nine Mile Road, Lesage, WV with Pastor Jerry Stickler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbottom Cemetery, Greenbottom, WV. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the church.
