Rheta Carol Pinson Keefer, 77 of Ona, WV passed away Oct 12, 2018 in Ona, WV. She was born December 10, 1940 in Barboursville, WV the daughter of the late James and Billie Cole Pinson. She was a retired Librarian from the Barboursville Public Library, attended Watson Elementary School in Barboursville, Barboursville High School and a member of Barboursville Baptist Church. Rheta was the founder and leader of the Barboursville Moonshiners and 4H Club and the West Virginia 4H All Star. She loved her cats more than life itself. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Cherry and Mike Beach, nephew Jeremy Beach and niece Mallory Beach. She is survived by her son, Matthew (Linda) Keefer of Barboursville, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Monday, Oct 22, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV with Pastor Ron Burnsworth officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Monday before services at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary.
