Carl Quinlin Ash, 77 of Lesage, WV passed away, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born April 20, 1941 in Huntington, WV the son of the late, Carlton and Edith Smith Ash. He was retired from ACF Industries, Cabell County Board of Education, member and deacon at Guyandotte Church of Christ, a charter secretary of the Lesage, WV Lions Club, loved to fish and travel and was a U.S. Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Carl Matthew Ash and one brother, Freddie Ray. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rosalie Meadows Ash of Lesage, WV; one son, Michael (Melissa) Ash of Lesage, WV; one sister, Connie C. Ash of Huntington, WV; five grandchildren, Cory Westfall, Charlie Grass, Evangeline (Brandon) Watson, Emily Ash and Erica Ross; five great-grandchildren, Harleigh Ross, Ariel Ross, Caleigh Ross, Harper Watson and Hunter Ross and a host of family and friends. A Memorial Service honoring Carl's life will be conducted on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the Guyandotte Church of Christ with minister Robert Huron officiating. The American Legion Post #139 Milton, WV and the West Virginia Honor Guard will provide military honors at the church. The family will receive fiends from 5-6 PM on Friday at the church.
