Michael Hensley, 61 of Barboursville, WV passed away peacefully on June 19, 201 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born on April 18, 1958 in Huntington, WV; the son of the late Herbert G and Joan Hensley. Michael was a veteran of the United States Army and was proud to serve his country. Michael enjoyed attending church and devoted his life to Christ. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Burdine. He is survived by two beautiful daughters, Tara Hensley of Huntington, WV and Carly Hensley of Vancouver, WA; two beautiful granddaughters, Jayden Rose Jennings and Nylah Ryann Green; four brothers, Bill Hensley of Nashville, TN, Steve Hensley of Huntington, WV, Bobby Hensley of Huntington, WV, John Hensley of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Penny Henry of Huntingotn, WV, Barbara Moore of Stubenville, KY; as well as a host of loving family and friends. Michael's wish was donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers. Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Road, Huntington is caring for the family.
