Ruth Evelyn Stephenson McCloud, 78 of Wayne, WV, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Wayne Continuous Care Center, Wayne, WV. She was born July 24, 1942 in Wayne, WV the daughter of the late, Sidney Russell Stephenson and Emma Mae Gann. She was a former housekeeper, member of Christ Temple Church. She loved her family, brothers and sisters and friends so much. She also dearly loved Pastor Chuck and Jamie Lawrence and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Adkins; brothers, Eugene, Charles, Calvary, Lonnie, Delbert and Homer Stephenson. She is survived by her children, Leshia (Perry) Chinn of Huntington, WV, Russell (Pamela) Bradley of OH and Larry Watts of Huntington, WV; sisters, Lillian Hensley of Lavalette, WV, Genevieve Adkins of Lavalette, WV, Dora Stephens of Wayne, WV, Elenor Napier of Wayne, WV, Charlotte Barren of Cleveland, OH; one brother, Glen Stephenson of Wayne, WV; grandchildren, Josh Brittany) Chinn, Shayna (Joel) Root, Justin Bradley, Whitney Chapman, Jeremy (Whitney) Chinn, Randall Chapman and Gary (Tiffany) Mosley; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Emma, Marlee, Bella, Easton, Hunter, Parker and Natalie; special friends, Trish Allen and Lynn Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Christ Temple Church 2400 Johnstown, Rd. Huntington, WV with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephenson Family Cemetery, Wayne, WV. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Christ Temple Church on Monday.
