Betty Lou Adkins Perkins Trent, 75 of Huntington, WV passed away, Sunday, July 11, 2021 in Harbor Healthcare, Ironton, OH. She was born December 30, 1945 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late, Robert "Bus" and Mary ann Adkins. She was a retired clerk from the Prestera Center and a volunteer at Cabell Huntington Hospital working in the gift shop and the oncology floor. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death a sister, Alta Vivian Adkins, Hazel Little and a brother, Jessie Adkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ted Talvin Trent of Huntington, WV; three children, Maryetta Adkins of Milton, WV, Jack Perkins of Ona, WV and Clifton Perkins (Christy) of Ona, WV; step-son John Trent (Marlanna) of Huntington, WV; two sisters, Janet Artrip of Barboursville and Angie St. John of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Robert "Bobby" Adkins of Rodchester Hills, MI; sister-in-law, Helen Adkins of Cleveland, OH and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV near Barboursville. The family will receive friends on hour prior to services on Thursday at the mortuary.
