James "Norton" Michael Stephens, II. 40 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Thursday, May 6, 2021. He was born April 22, 1981 in Huntington, WV the son of Patty Sue Poff Tackett (O.C. Tackett) of South Point, OH and the late, James Michael Stephens. James was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeye fan. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Elizabeth Wolf of Huntington, WV; his sister, Christina Mills (Todd) of Proctorville, OH; niece, Chelsa Davis; brother, Buddy Tackett (Sheila Johnson) of Lexington, KY; uncles, Arnet Poff of Huntington, WV and Arthur Poff of Summersville, WV, Dallas Stephens (Connie), Paul Stephens (Edith) and Silas Stephens (Dorothy) all of Wayne, WV; aunts, Helen Webber (Paul) of Columbus, OH and Joyce Jones (Kenneth) of Huntington, WV and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 14, 2021 at New Beginning Apostolic Church, 1002 25th St. Huntington, WV 25703. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time, Friday at the church. Burial will follow at the Stephens Cemetery in Wayne, WV.
