James Thomas Parker

James Thomas Parker, 65, of Huntington, WV, died May 15, 2012 at the VA Medical Center. He was born March 7, 1947 in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late James and Lucy Fetty Parker. James is survived by his wife, Jan and children, Josh, Jenna, Jodi and JayT, siblings Nancy Edgerton, Sally Stahler and Steve Parker. He served his country in the United States Army of which he became a highly decorated combat medic, serving in Vietnam and was a member of the Mobile Riverine Force, additionally he was a member of the VFW Post in Proctorville, OH. He was a retired Administrator at the Huntington Work Release Center. Full military services will be held in October at the Arlington National Cemetery.
