Venice Saad

Venice Saad of Boston, MA, formerly
of Huntington, fell asleep in the Lord on May 10, 2012, after a long and
courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Beirut, Lebanon and
immigrated to the United States. Venice was a graduate of Jesuit University
of Beirut and of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and worked as a
pharmacist in both Huntington, WV and Boston, MA. Her father, Ayoub Saad,
preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Rose Saad,
of Huntington, her brother Toufic and his wife, Sandra, and daughter,
Madison, of Paintsville, KY, and brother, Tony of Beirut, Lebanon.
Additionally, many aunts, uncles, and cousins mourn her passing. The family
will receive friends on Monday, May 14, from 6-8 PM at Holy Spirit Orthodox
Church, 1 Woodhaven Dr. Trisagion Prayers for the Departed will be offered
at 7:30 PM. The funeral service will begin at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 15, at
the church. Entombment will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. The family
would like to express its deepest appreciation to the many nurses and
physicians who supported Venice in her struggle in her illness, and
especially to the staff of the Yale Hospital of New Haven, CT, who offered
healing and comfort to her and her family during the last weeks of her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Spirit Orthodox
Church.
