Obituary

Robert Lee Runyon
(June 15, 1934 - March 26, 2013)

Robert Lee Runyon, 78, of Chesapeake, OH, died Tuesday, March 26 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He is the son of the late Henry Runyon and Linnie Work Runyon of Huntington. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Gibson Runyon. Robert is survived by one son, Robert Lee Runyon II (Lynn) of North Carolina, two daughters, Vianna Gibson (Gene) of Lexington, KY and Robin Lusher of Chesapeake, OH, a special daughter Andrea Thornsbury, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren,and a special friend, Pamela Runyon. Robert served his country in the US Army. A gathering will be from 9 AM until 10 AM, Friday, March 29, 2013 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Chesapeake Little League, 624 Big Branch Road Chesapeake, OH 45619.
