Betty Jane Honaker
(September 21, 1923 - June 27, 2015)

Betty Jane Willis Honaker 91, of Huntington, West Virginia, went to be with our Lord on June 27, 2015. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 83 years. Joining the church when she was 8 years old she went on to volunteer and work in the office of the church and helped to coordinate many weddings. She was also a wonderful pianist and very talented seamstress and artist. Her life was defined by her strong faith, belief in hard work, and a lasting commitment to the love and care for her family. Preceded in death her parents Florence Baumgardner Willis and Elzie Willis and six sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Harold Hilton Honaker, two beloved daughters Jane Honaker Hastings (Libby Ball) and Julee Honaker Cullum (Randolph Cullum). Five grandchildren, Susan Hastings, Ted Hastings (Whitney), Hilton Hastings (Sarah), Michael Hastings (Cycelee ) and Elizabeth Cullum, seven great-grandchildren, and 3 nieces, Lynn Webster, Mimi Morrill and Jeannie Evans. Funeral will be at Klingel Carpenter’s Wednesday 2:00 Dr. Minihan officiating, visitation at noon . The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Huntington.
