CHARLENE YVONNE CANTLEY CLARDY
(1970- February 21, 2016)

CHARLENE YVONNE CANTLEY CLARDY, 46, of Charlotte, N.C., went to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 21, 2016. She was a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, where she achieved her RN/BSN degrees. She was the daughter of Charles and Peggy Cantley of Barboursville, W.Va. Charlene was the loving wife of Richard Clardy for 19 years, and the mother of Timothy Clardy, both of Charlotte, N.C. She is also survived by her sister Angie (Brian) Keyser of Barboursville, and many special nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much. She also left behind godparents Dick and Judy Wolfe of Charlotte, N.C. She was preceded in death by four children, Emmanuel, Hannah, Kathy and Charles Clardy, and her dear friend Shera Wolfe. Throughout the years she enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher and Children's Ministry Director. She enjoyed crocheting special gifts to share with others. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2016, at noon at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary, followed by a 2 p.m. graveside service at Woodmere Memorial Park. Committal service will be led by Rev. George Holley.
