Loretta Norman Baker
(November 6, 1933 - May 26, 2018)

Loretta Norman Baker, 84, of Huntington, died May 26, 2018 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.  Loretta was born November 6, 1933 in McCarr, KY, daughter of the late William P. “Doc” Norman and Maxie Farley Norman.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Baker.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and owner and operator of Central City Antiques for 35 plus years.  Loretta will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Survivors include her son, William Norman Baker and his wife Kay; granddaugher, Rebekah Baker MacLaren and husband Malcolm; sister, Emogene Vipperman and husband Robert; sister-in-law, Jessie Clark; nieces, Brenda Rucker, Helen Blankship and Mary Pat Dobbins; nephews, Bill Vipperman and George B. Baker. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 by the Rev. Skip Seibel at First Presbyterian Church with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service with procession to the cemetery leaving the church at 2:15 p.m.  Interment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park.
