Obituary

Judith Gail Rowley
(September 26, 1935 - May 16, 2018)

JUDITH (JUDY) GAIL ROWLEY, 82, of Huntington, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary with Fifth Avenue Baptist Pastor, Eric Porterfield, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodmere Cemetery.  Family will receive guests from Noon until service time. She was born September 26, 1935, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Marshall and June Cox. She was a lifelong member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and had been an active member of the choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Galen Gene Rowley. Survivors include three beloved children and their spouses, Robert Rowley (Kay), Michael Rowley (Cathy) and Kathy Chappell (Mark); nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her beloved brother Jimmie Cox.
