Phyllis A. Curnutte
(May 27, 1934 - April 19, 2010)


PHYLLIS A. CURNUTTE, 75, of Huntington, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Jerry Chapman. Burial will follow at Docks Creek Cemetery. Phyllis was a retired seamstress for the Huntington Manufacturing Co. and a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. Phyllis was born on May 27, 1934 in West Hamlin, W.Va., the daughter of the late Ambrose Morris and Vida Dillon Morris Perdue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathryn Curnutte. She is survived by her son and a special friend, James "Jim" Curnutte and Cheryl of Huntington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and James Haskins, and Anna and Mark Workman, all of Huntington; six grandchildren and spouses, Warren and Miranda Spry, John David Curnutte, Jason and Jennifer Curnutte, Joshua, Benjamin and Kristofor Workman; four great-grandchildren, Hayden and Hannah Curnutte, and Audrey and Jacob Spry; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Marilyn Morris, and Gary and Penny Morris; and one sister, Lora Gay Cremeans; several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Becky McCormick, and Butch and Lou Davis. Friends may call from noon until service time on Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home.  Contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
