LUCILLE STAFFORD, 91, of Huntington, W.Va., wife of Marvin Stafford, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, April 18, 2010, at the Hospice of Akron, Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson Avenue Church of God by Rev. Paul R. Farley. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. She was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Fred and Lydia Riley Haynes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jefferson Avenue Church of God. In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jane Stafford, and Ronald and Virginia Stafford; three grandchildren and their spouses, Scott Stafford, Julie Dean and her husband David, and Ronald Stafford and his wife Sharon; seven great-grandchildren, David Jr. and wife Christina, Megan, Matthew, Nicholas and Hannah Dean, Nathaniel and Paige Stafford; one great-great-grandchild, Braxton Dean. The family would like to especially thank friends, Fred and Linda Honaker, and Mike Adkins. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
