Charles Edward Schafer
(December 1, 1925 - June 22, 2011)

CHARLES EDWARD SCHAFER, 85, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Cornerstone Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 27, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Charles was a retired sales man for Western Auto and a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy. Charles was born on December 1, 1925, in Huntington, the son of the late Joseph and Cora Matthews Schafer. He is survived by his two sons, Charles V. and James A. Schafer; two daughters, Deborah Schafer and Linda Shepard; and two brothers, Joseph T. and James L. Schafer. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Reger Funeral Home.
