Obituary
Charles Stollings,
89, of Oviedo, Florida passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at his
residence. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the
Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park,
Huntington, WV. He was born July 3, 1924 in Mt. Gay, WV a son of the late
Elizabeth and Wayne Stollings. He had worked in real estate; and was a
disabled veteran who landed at Normandy, France in 1944, while serving with
Company G 116th Infantry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by his first wife, Barbara Browning Stollings, his second wife Francis
Stollings, two brothers, Louis Stollings, Denver Stollings and one sister
Mable Dingess. His survivors include, two daughters and a son-in-law, Della
(Bobby) Starcher, and Ann Clark Windon, grandchildren: Monica Clark DuPree (Shon),
Captain Robert M. Starcher (Michele), Jennifer Clark Williams (Ronald),
Larry Clark, Jr. (Amanda) and Jeffrey Starcher; great-grandchildren:
Victoria Ann Williams, J.K. Starcher and Thomas Lee Clark. Friends may call
from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Home. He will
always be remembered as a loving Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather,
and Great-Grandfather.
