Joy Del Bailey, 80, of Huntington, West Virginia left this life on Thursday, January 1, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 pm Sunday, January 4 2015 at Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, West Virginia with Pastor Chris Day. Burial will follow at Maple Hills Cemetery, Kenova, West Virginia. Joy was born January 18, 1934 in Cabell County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Elgie and Ruth Shepherd Sullivan. She was preceded in death by four brother; Ingram Sullivan, Arnold Sullivan, Elgie Sullivan, Jr., Little Bob Sullivan and four sisters; Reba Lafon, Rena Copenhaver, Adele Taylor, and Alma Newton. Joy attended Ceredo Christian Baptist Church where she was the pianist for several years. Survivors include her beloved husband of 63 years, Donald D. Bailey; two sons Steven and Pamela Bailey and Gary and Beverly Bailey of Huntington, West Virginia. Three grandchildren, Angela (Bailey) and Brandon Huff, Dan Bailey and Michael Chaffin; two sisters, Delsie Watson and Elsie Nance; and six great grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Seth, Eli and Laura Bailey and Della Rylee Huff. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Reger Funeral Home.
