Billy Eugene Edmonds, Sr., 82, of Huntington, widower of Joan Crawford Edmonds, passed away Friday October 23, 2015 at Madison Park, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Rocky Meadows. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. He was born March 12, 1933 in Huntington, a son of the late Cecil Edmonds and Freda Stephenson Nolan. He was a retired employee of Steel of WV and was a US Navy Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents who raised him Fannie and Alfred Stephenson; brother Alfred Nolan and sister Phyllis Jean Nolan. Survivors include four children Donna Edmonds Blevins, Billy Edmonds, Jr. and his wife Cheri, Nancy Snider and her husband Dale and Debbie Yeager and her husband David; grandchildren Harvey Campbell, Bridget Cox, Jennifer Detamore, Brian Snider, Sarah Snider and Kimberly Snider; eight great grandchildren; brother Johnnie Nolan; sister Sara Morgan and several nieces and nephews.
