Thomas Russell Dorsey, 65, of Ceredo, went to be with his Lord, Monday, November 28, 2016 after a brief illness. A celebration of life graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 12:30 pm by Pastor Scott Byard at Hillcrest Cemetery. Burial will follow. Tom was born on October 20, 1951 in Wayne County to the late Ernest Lowell and Lucy Viola Patterson Dorsey. He was a retired accountant from Marshall University. He loved to attend his children’s band concerts and could often be found behind the concession stand volunteering at their band competitions. His love for Snoopy was only trumped by his unending love for his pizza princess, and dog, Sachi. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister; Robin Dorsey and his father-in-law; Harry Prince. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years Deborah Dorsey, two wonderful and loving sons; Stephen and Justin Dorsey, mother-in-law; Pearl Prince, three brothers; Fred (Kim) Dorsey, Randy (Tina) Dorsey, Jon Dorsey, many brothers and sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 11 am until 12 pm at the Reger Funeral Home. A procession will leave the funeral home at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity of choice.
