Obituary
Darlene Stickler, 66, of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church by Pastor Bobby Fowler. Entombment will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Darlene was born on November 30, 1950 in Harts Creek, WV to the late Virgil and Daisy Conley Mullins. She was an office administrator for a flower shop and was active in the ladies auxiliary group and she was a member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and vacation bible school and was a member of the choir. She also supported various charitable organizations. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband; Tyrone Lee Warner, one step son, and one step grandchild. She is survived by her husband; Allen Stickler, one daughter; Patricia (Ralph) Thacker, one son; Creed (Jessy) Warner, and five step children and their families, a host of step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Seven sisters and brothers; Kathy (Mike) Gustweiler, Donna (Robin) Drain, Vivian (Gordon) Sexton, Glendene Andricks, Rick (Carlena) Mullins, Caroline (Kelly) Bryant, and Greg (Staci) Mullins, several nieces and nephews, and a special nephew; Seth, and many special children that she helped raise as her own. She will be missed by a host of friends. The family would like to thank the Cabell Huntington Hospital ICU staff and physicians and a special thank you to the surgery team. Friends may call from 11 am until service time on Saturday at the church. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
