Obituary



Roger Allen Kimbler, 59, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday May 24, 2017. He was born in Huntington, WV, on December 18, 1957. He served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz. He was a hardworking man who loved his family, and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid WVU fan, “Go Mountaineers” was his favorite saying. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Harold Hale, his maternal grandmother, Mary Kimbler and two special aunts, Mary Kimbler and Sue Beckley. Survivors include his loving mother Dorothy Kimbler Hale of Kenova; two sons, whom he loved more than anything in this world, Troy (Joanna) Kimbler of Kenova and Matthew (Kadesha) Kimbler of Virginia; granddaughter Vada Kimbler who was his pride and joy; a fiancé, who was the love of his life, Beverly Frasher. Five siblings, Connie (Bo) Sloan of Kenova, Jerry Hale of Kenova, Ricky Hale of Indiana, Violet (Larry) Walters of Huntington and Della Hale of Kenova; a special uncle Bogey, who was like a dad to him and special cousins, David and Lisa Kimbler, who were like his brother and sister and a host of family and friends too many to mention. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Hospice of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Brother Frank Donnelly. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Friends may call from noon until service time on Friday at the Reger Funeral Home.
