Bertis “Nan” Campbell, 96, of Huntington, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Dr. C, J. Adkins. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born September 1, 1921 in Wayne County, W. Va., A Daughter of the late Thomas and Sena Maynard. She was a retired employee of the S & H Green Stamp Store. She was the oldest member of Westmoreland Baptist Church, She raised her siblings, daughter, grandsons and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter R. Campbell, a brother Curtis Maynard and a sister Alma Keeney. Survivors include a daughter Patricia L. Frye, with whom she made her home, Two grandchildren Gary Frye ( Angie) and Ricky Frye ( Amy ), four great grandchildren Britt Frye (Alyssa), Nikki Steffy ( Corey), Kaleb Frye and Jakob Frye, two great- great grandchildren Raelyn Steffy and Wyatt Steffy, a brother Wilbur Maynard ( Allene), four sisters, Edna Faulkner, Flo Bohannan ( Charlie), Roberta “ Bobbie” Stone ( George), and Avanell Roach ( Ray )and A special Sister-in-law Skipper Maynard.
