KIMBERLY SUE WARD, 60, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017. Kim was born in Huntington, W.Va., on July 15, 1957, and graduated from Huntington High School — Pony Express. She attended St. Mary’s and Marshall’s nursing programs and went on to become a Registered Nurse. Kim loved her family and long days at the beach. Kim was a proud and wonderful mother to three sons, who kept her busy and could always make her laugh, David “Christopher” Ward, deceased, (Holly Ward), Matthew Lee Ward (his wife Candice) and Richard Kenton Ward (his wife Suzanne). Kim was the daughter of Jean Ann Harker and the late Richard “Dick” Harker. Kim was a doting grandmother who loved to spoil Sophie, Declan, Mason, Carrigan, Brody and Remi. She is also survived by her brother Richard L. Harker (Colleen), her cousin, Mark Brumfield (Annette), numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Services will be held at the Reger Funeral Home in Huntington, W.Va., on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., with the service beginning at 2 p.m. in the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Bob McGlone. Graveside service will follow at the Ward Family Cemetery. “Mom, you were loved and respected and you will be sorely missed by everyone that knew you, including your “boys” and grandchildren. Be with Christopher and we will meet again one day."
