Tayla Jo Johnson

Tayla Jo Johnson, 16, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Graveside funeral rites will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV with Brother James Wells officiating. She was born on December 9, 2003 in Huntington, WV the daughter of Beverly Walden and  Eugene “Ralph” Johnson and Kelly Johnson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Doris and Gene Johnson and uncle: Michael Johnson.   In addition to her parents she is survived by her grandparents: Jeannie and Darrell Hinton, sisters: Destiny Laney Clark and Tyrane Robinson, brothers; Brent Johnson, Fat Cat Johnson, Austin Bragg and Bentley Johnson. One niece: Brynlee Clark, three nephews: Morgan Clark, Kason and Kade Johnson, two aunts: Kim “Auntie: and Tasha, so many cousins that she loved so dearly and two best friends; Emily Hall and Blake Perez and many other friends. Visitation will be on Monday, May 25, 2020 from 5-7 pm at the Reger Funeral Home. Due to the current restrictions on space the funeral is allowed to have 35 people at a time in the funeral home. Face coverings are strongly recommended for all those attending the visitation.
