Janet Faye Bentley
(March 25, 1941 - March 12, 2021)

Janet Bentley, 79, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center.  She was born March 25, 1941 in Wayne County, WV.  Janet was preceded in death by Wilda and Doc Stanley who raised her and also by her grandson Dylan Thacker.  Survivors include her husband of 52 years Larry Bentley; her daughters, Danita (Rick) Hankins of Ironton, Ohio, Marlena (Mark) Artrip of Russell, KY and Virginia (Kevin) Vickers of Huntington, WV; six grandchildren, Amber (Ron) Wroblewski, Andrea (Shaun) Clark, Jordan (Shannon) Hankins, Brad Artrip, Justin (Gabriella) Artrip and Madison (Linzie) Thacker; thirteen great grandchildren; one bonus daughter, Claudia (David) Johnson of Sandy, UT; one brother, Vernon Maynard of Spring Hill, FL; and one sister, Patty Staley of Portsmouth, Ohio.  Janet was a member of the Huntington Christian Church and was an employee of Owens-Illinois.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, by Pastor Tom Marcum.  Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until service time on Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
