 Lucia Granillo Longfellow
	September 7, 1932 - March 26,2021Huntington, WV.
Lucie joined her husband, Bobby Joe Longfellow, Sr. in heaven on March 26,
2021.  She was born in Cochise, Arizona on September 7, 1932 to Julio and
Josefina (Vasquez) Campos. She loved recounting the love story of how she
and Joe met; she was working at a soda shop in the local pharmacy and he
was stationed with the Air Force in Arizona. It was a whirlwind romance and
the couple married just before Joe transferred to Hawaii. She of course
would soon follow and there they welcomed their oldest son, Bobby Joe Jr.
Upon leaving the Air Force, the newlyweds chose Huntington, the home of
Joe's family, to raise their family, which quickly grew to include Michael
Stuart, Charles Christopher, and Lisa Dianna.  Family was always the center
of her affection. She treasured her memories of growing up in Arizona with
her sister, Ramona, her mother and her much adored step-father, Ramon
Granillo. It was her love of family and an early childhood encounter with
the missionaries that led her to raise her children in the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved being a homemaker and serving as a
Sunday School teacher, working with the Young Women and as a Relief Society
Counselor.  Throughout her life, she worked for Kerr Glass, Arthur Murray
Dance Studio as a ballroom instructor, and acquired her LPN, which led to a
career with CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, working with heart
surgeons. Lucie experienced a life of adventure; she loved to travel, was an
avid reader, loved playing bingo, and enjoyed creating her own
jewelry.   She is predeceased by her husband, Bobby Joe Sr, parents, and
sisters,Ramona and Elizabeth. She leaves behind her legacy, her children...
	.Bobby Jr (Jamie) of Tallahassee, FL; Michael (Margie) of Huntington;
Charles (Lorali) of Littleton, CO; and Lisa Longfellow, of Huntington.... as
well as 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren, one great grandson, and a
special friend and roommate, Pamela Adkins.  Funeral services will be
conducted at 11 am Tuesday at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington by Bishop
Frank Kirby.  Burial will follow.  Friends may call from 10 am until service
time on Tuesday at Woodmere Memorial Park.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington,
is assisting the family with arrangements.
